difficult

Lord, thank You for making the people around me ever-patient…even when I am difficult.
filling station
Sometimes when we feel we have too much to carry, we get drowned…
(*we feel…because most of the time, it’s just us feeling but it’s not real)
We get disoriented. We forget to gas up. To pray for sustenance. To refuel. To visit our filling station.
And then along the way, the warning sign blinks. We’re on the verge of quitting. Breaking down.
And then He makes you turn your sight to a sign. A sign that His filling station is just nearby. You grab the chance to refuel. Repentant and thankful at the same time.
Thank You, Lord for reminding me to always gas up, refuel, and always visit You in the filling station.

Gas Up
Yesterday.
From work, headed straight home.
Parked at the basement.
On my way to work this morning, noticed the fuel sign blinking.
OMG!
I’m in the middle of the highway, as in.
No gas station in sight.
Still far from my workplace.
Very far.
I prayed.
Lord, please let me reach the nearest filling station safely.
Don’t make the car stall in the middle of this highway, please.
Few kilometers before the office, saw a gas station sign.
Whew!
I paid 64 AED for the full tank…
Saw the fuel sign blinking na din before,
When I refueled, paid 55…
Pero eto…64…whew!
Empty tank indeed!
Praise You Lord for sustaining us along the way.

Vampire. Dreamt about vampires last night. Thought it weird kaya I googled for dream interpretations.
