My FB Post:
"Woke up in the middle of the night, can't go back to sleep, thinking about what happened to you...But trusting and claiming that you are now resting in God's loving embrace...no more pain, no more suffering. Mahal ka namin, Ate Lea. Pahinga na ikaw."
Salamat sa paggawa ng magandang art folio ko...ikaw yun...ikaw yung 'creative' designer ko nun.
I want to stop thinking, analyzing, imagining how you might have felt...what you could have been experiencing...I want to believe it was 'painless' as possible. Love you, Ate. Ayan, naiiyak ko na.
Tanawin mo kami mula jan ha. Bantayan mo sila Ate Malou at Ate Iting. Mahal na mahal ka nila.
Love you, Ate.

After writing this post, nakita ko sa internet ang nagkalat na paghahanap sa iyo ng anak mo via different tumbler posts and reposts. Nakita ko rin sa internet na libing mo po pala ngayon.
Siguro kaya kita naiisip kagabi, Ate. Pahinga ka na, ha. Hug mo na lang babies mo...lovelove ka daw nila.

fan
Just now, I noticed, I'm on a 'I-am-a-fan' mode.
Last week, I wrote an email to The CompanY
And today, I sent an email to Fr. Orbos...
It's this certain happiness inside of me that I so wanted them to know they brigthened up my day, or days for that matter. And I didn't want to just let it pass.
I just hope I stay sensitive enough to other people who brightens up my day/s, too, and would take time to return the favor.
Bless my heart, Jesus; please fill it with happiness overflowing that I may share You with others.
(edited as of 26Jan2012)
I just remembered...
I sent an SMS to Kris Fade of the radio show of the same name yesterday.
Fan mode, indeed!

Loving Conversations
scary. it's so uncertain. I'm such a worrier.
Will it be a 'good' year?
-Me
Anak, in the years that has passed,
never have I forsaken you.
I have never left you; ever.
I have stayed by your side.
What proof do you need?
Trust in me.
Believe that I will never leave you.
I will be here, my child.
-God
Can there be a new me? i'm so bugged with the 'hopeless case' scenario, Lord.
- Me
It's a new year. A perfect time for a new start; a new you.
Change your ways. You can do better. You can be better.
You will be better.
- God
Uhmmm...Lord, it seems like...our thanksgiving a while ago was too short...
Now we're on our supplication...prang ang haba po yata...daming requests...
-Me
I love to hear your thanksgiving. I like it when you pray your supplication.
Do you understand what I mean?
I LOVE the experience of you talking to me.
Just talk to me. About anything. About everything.

Great God, please bless our country, Philippines. May your concept of truth and justice reign in this process of law. May your love prevail in the proceedings. Touch the hearts of both the prosecution and defense to consider first and foremost the people, our country...and its betterment; rather than their personal agenda.
Amen.

from IKV
Last time I went to Bohol was this...
Had a great time with KFCs
Paved the way for my own nieces and nephew to join KFC
Was able to spend quality time with nanay, her first time to ride a plane, huh.
Spent perfect moments with Arianna
Today, I pray for the upcoming Bohol Adventure.
Bless our schedules, Lord
Bless our plans, bless our vacation.
May our hearts be open to what you want us to experience
May our minds be ready to learn from these experiences
And may our being be ready to possess these great adventures
May You be praised, our God, our great provider.
I'm inspired with Kuya Kirby's thrust for this new year...
Fear less. Love more.
Lord, grant me the grace to define and name my fears so that I can eventually face them.
Fear and less when written apart means a reduced amount of fear, but combined together, 'fearless' means courageous. Bless my heart, Lord to be courageous enough to stop what hinders me and continue what propels me.
All of these, may I do with love for You...leading em to love myself more and trusting you most.

Am I not?

How many question marks can fit into one's mind?
More than the number of neurons it contains?
As many as the cell it houses?
Hurt.
That was how I felt after she greeted me.
Was it a greeting? A reprimand? An order?
Passing judgement? Announcing a verdict?
I am hurt. Because the person matters to me.
I give importance and value to what the person has to say about me.
I just want to believe You know me better, Lord.
And yes, I am better.
Lord, lead me always to pray...to confide in you whenever I am besieged with emotions like these.
Whenever negativities swarm like a typhoon engulfing a whole city...
And teach me to be careful, too, with the words that I speak...
So I may not commit the same unintentional act
Of hurting the people I love.
Bless my heart that I may speak of words of love...
Amen.

Pray. Share. Advocate
I cannot muster enough strength to write...
I don't want to look at the pictures...nor the figures...
I simply want to pray for them.
Was touched by Kuya Kirby's article.
Pray. Share. Advocate.
Lord, please bless our country.
Bless those who have something to share to find it in their hearts the need to share.
Embrace all those who were directly hit by Sendong.
Hug them, please.

TS Sendong
“Sendong” (international codename: Washi)
Lord, I pray for all those affected, in one way or another, by Tropical Strom Sendong. May they find refuge in your loving arms. Those whose loved ones died as a result of the storm, I pray that they find in their hearts strength to continue trusting in the Lord. For all those who are still missing, may families affected be united in time for Christmas.
Lord, please bless our country.
Make us more prepared so that calamities like these will not wreak such havoc in any areas.
We lift up our country to You. Amen.

Dear Cheche,
One day, you'll see the various events of your life—even the most painful ones—with new eyes.
They will be like jigsaw pieces that now all fit together.
The most difficult moments of your life are the lovely shadows that now make the painting of your life utterly magnificent.
Cheche, I will turn your mourning into joy, your sorrow into dancing. That's a promise.
Promise Keeper,
God
PS. Sometimes, you don't understand, Cheche. That's okay.
I don't call you to understand. I call you to trust Me.

3.3.11
I just want to remember the date when, finally, and officially...
I brought home a BB and declared it as mine.
Hehehehe...
Brought it home days before pero didn't really put my SIM, entered into the social network package kaya it's not counted.
On Thursday, March 3, I told our IT Guru...
I'll take it.
Even if you're calling it 'horrible'
Then, together with Chattee and Caloy...
trooped to Al Attar Center to buy new casing sana
found it expensive, 90 AED eh...
settled for the rubber protector worth 20AED
heheheh
plus privacy screen cover worth 25 AED
cheap buys, eh.
50 AED credit and enrollment procedures...
Tada!
I have my own BB na...
Happiness lang sa unexpected gift.
PLUS
the 'up' I've been promised was finally made a reality.
Mixed emotions on this one...
I remember praying for it to be delayed so it won't make me 'guilty' when I decide to leave
or make it real right away as a sign that I should stay...
Well, it came.
And I'm still undecided...
hahahahhaha... adik ako, yes!
Am still praying...
Thank you for the uncertainties for they spice up our lives, make our minds work further, and our prayers more fervent and unceasing.

Pray. Pray much. Pray on.
Fr. Jerry Orbos
It is always an inspiring sight to see a person with head bowed, and knees bent in prayer. In whatever way, or in whatever form, a person in prayer is a person at peace. The value of prayer is not just the belief that our petitions will be granted, but the assurance that we are not alone, that there is someone listening, and that there is some hope and direction amid our loneliness and confusion. Pray. Pray much. Pray on.
* * *
When was the last time you really prayed, and prayed really? There are times when, try as we might, we come to a standstill, and we hit rock bottom. At such times, pray. Pray angry, pray mad, pray ugly, whatever, but pray anyway. And pray on. No need to pray beautiful. Just pray real.
* * *
The very first act I do every morning is to kneel down as soon as I wake up. This practice I learned from our formator, Fr. Michael Padua, SVD, when I entered the minor seminary in 1966. On bended knees, we do not need to say much because when we kneel in humility, we know who we are, and we know who God is. When we kneel down, with all our blessings and “achievements,” we know that all these come from God, and that they could be gone in a flick of a finger. When we kneel down, with all our burdens and problems, we know for certain, that there is someone bigger than us who can help us. Do you want to know who you really are, and what the score really is? Kneel down!
* * *
At the end of the day, kneel down. (If unable to do this, just bow down your head in prayer). Whatever transpired during your day, good or bad, happy or sad, lay them all before God’s heart, and surrender everything in prayer. Prayer at the end of the day provides the necessary “closure” to help us get a good night’s rest.
* * *
Try this: If you cannot sleep, hold your rosary or your crucifix. No need to say much. Just stay focused, then surrender everything instead of trying to resolve all your problems and concerns in your head. And yes, instead of counting sheep, count your blessings.
* * *
Why is prayer important? A text message I received says: “Prayer quiets our hearts, clears our vision, activates our faith and makes things happen.” If prayer seems not important to you yet, at this point in time, maybe that is the reason why your heart is not quiet, your vision is not clear, your faith is not active and things are not really happening in your life.

Doctor, please
Pray tayo...
Most loving father, you have gifted us with the power to heal.
O, Lord bless our hands that as we touch our ailing body parts, Your healing love will abound. And like the bleeding woman, we will have her strength of faith believing that You are the greatest healer. And when the pain subsides Oh, Lord that we may entrust further care to your appointed professional doctors, Father.
Lead me to the doctors whom you have blessed with the special privilege to heal throught the work that they do.
I offer my healing, I offer healers that you will send along the way and I offer my faith to You.
Amen.

Good afternoon, friends…
Eight days to go before the 9th SFC-UAE National Conference.
We would like to appeal to everyone to please include us in your prayers…
Let us pray for all the service team and participants that we may prepare our hearts in the coming days so that it’ll be like a fertile soil ready to receive God’s words from the experience of the conference.
We pray for all the participants, Oh Lord that you will bless our schedule with your protection. Give us good health, also, Lord that we will enjoy the experience of the Natcon to the fullest.
For the service team, please pray that our Music Ministry Members will be back safely in Dubai and in time for their practices and the National Conference.
Bro Edmund Fajut is currently in KSA on a business trip.
Bro Audie Cabico is still in Kish waiting for his visa.
Let us also pray for all the members of the Creative Ministry polishing their performances, the Logistics Team finishing the stage design and all other logistical requirements, the Documentation Ministry editing videos that will be used to convey messages of God, the Secretariat Team busy segregating the conference kits, and the rest of the service team dutifully doing their tasks.
Touch our hearts, Lord that we may always offer our time, talents, and treasure selflessly in service of your name. And in all of these, we may seek one goal, to bring back all glory, honor and praise to Your most holy and sweet name.
All these we pray, with much love and thanksgiving. Amen

provides and pampers
My God is a GOD WHO PROVIDES... in more ways than one!
He sustains me...with His love that always delivers an unexplainable peace to my heart...
Lord God,
Thank You.
Thank You for making my worship to You real...in 3D! ;)
Whenever I worship and proclaim
You provide what we need
And pamper us with what we want...
It becomes a reality right before my very eyes...
I honor You for being so faithful, Oh Lord.
I praise You for being so loving.
A relationship with You is definitely full of pleasant surprises.
Bless my heart, Father...
that I may not falter in keeping a harmonious relationship with You...
not because I want to be blessed...
but moreso because it is the first and ultimate desire of my heart.
More than the blessings
More than the gifts
More than the suprises
Way above the hardships
Way above the trials
I pray that my basic desire will be to praise You and love You always.
Mama Mary, I ask for your intercession.
Please adorn my prayers with flowers from your throne that it may become a pleasing sacrifice for my God.
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Thank You for always making Your Holy presence felt.
Amen.

24/7
A Christian lifestyle 24/7 is not an option for Christians; it is a must! Let us be faithful to our calling and be the Christian witness we are meant to be in the world. Let us live and create a Christian sub-culture that will challenge the materialistic hedonism that is fast consuming humanity today. Fr. Steve Tynan, MGL
15July2010.Sabbath
St. Bonaventure is one of the greatest theologians of the Franciscan Order. His writings on the mind and heart of God are still important sources of thought hundreds of years after his death. It shows that the truth is immutable and endures from age to age. This is why we need to seek the truth and make it the foundation of our lives and reject the fads of our time which are usually shallow and meaningless.
The Saints of the Church discover truths about the Christian life that command their attention and energy. These truths set them on a path that serves as an example for all to follow. This is what sets apart lives that will be remembered for their everlasting significance and those that will be forgotten by the next generation. I think there is something in us that desires to leave a legacy for the generations to come, but are we willing to focus our lives so that this will be realized? Sportsmen have a singular purpose in life — to set a record — and so often they are forgotten once their world record is broken or their career is over. Yet, these people train several hours a day to earn a wreath that is going to wither and die and be passed to another person. This is a challenge to Christians today to get serious about their faith and focus on living their lives to the full rather than allowing themselves to be distracted by the fads around us.
If all Christians were as committed to their faith as some sportsmen are to their sport, I am sure the world would be a very different place.
Reflection Question:
Is my life dedicated to living the fullness of the Christian Gospel or am I given over, even partially, to the hedonistic materialism of our day?
Father, help me to realize that there is nothing more satisfying than giving my life in Your service. Help me to remain faithful to the Gospel 24/7.

prayers straight from the heart
received these daily devotionals right on time...
a sweet reminder from the Lord...

06July2010
Dear Lord, our Heavenly Father, thank You for the trials, struggles, and problems, every time I’m in these kinds of situations, I can feel more of Your presence, I can hear more of Your voice and I can experience more of Your power. Lord, giving up will never be an option for me, for I know in my every downfall, You have taught me lessons, You have revealed in me more of You, You have developed and molded my character. I may be on my knees but I will never stay down because in You I am already victorious. Father, give me more of Your strength, perseverance and wisdom as I fight the battle within me. Don’t let any works of the enemy overtake any of my decisions. Let Your will be done and let it be accomplished in Your perfect time. Lord God, clear my mind of any confusions, lend me peace of mind as I continue to absorb every lesson You want to impart in me. Father, I bring You back all the glory and praises in Your son’s mighty name, Jesus. Amen.
07July2010
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me all the things I need to do. Lord, I thank You also for keeping me on Your side, I’m sorry and I ask for Your forgiveness for all the things I have done against Your will, my prayer life is getting weaker, strengthen me Father, and don’t let my worries consume me. Lord, for whatever is happening to me right now, You have a purpose, and I know there will be good end results. Open my mind and my heart to see great things in difficult situations. Continue to teach me lessons I need to learn as a servant of Yours, even if it takes strenuous testing, I would bear all of it and not give up. Father God, You have provided me with my life, a life dedicated only to You, equip this with Your power and the armor of the Holy Spirit. I am humbly asking Lord, to provide me together with my family, friends and love ones, with everything we need may it be financial, emotional, physical, or spiritual needs. You have and You can calm a storm, give me peace of mind and let me be still in times of troubles for I know You are my God. Thank You Lord, in Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.

Amen.

Amen.

Dynamics:
What (happened today that) you initially perceived as neagtive but later realized as positive.
Lord, thank you:
that we are experiencing financial difficulties
You are teaching us to manage our finances well
that we are experiencing problems with work, colleagues, and workload
You are teaching us to value that we still have our jobs
that we are not with our family and loved ones now
You are making us apprecitae every moment that we will be spending with them in the future
that we will make every moment count, every second special and every loved one valued
that we are experiencing difficulties in our service
You are reminding us that the path leading to You is not an easy road
comforting us that we are indeed on the right track
that we are not with our God's gifts now
You are embracing us and assuring us that You are busy preparing our perfect love story crafted especially for the two of us
Your wonder, Your majesty is unfathomable...Your love is insurmountable...praise be to Your name, Oh Lord.
