Wounded Soldiers

Yesterday, I saw, felt and read about several 'soldiers' already wounded from the 'fight' who continue to fight on, move on and serve with all their might for the glory of their God... Thank You, Lord for allowing me to see You in them.


Different battles, different tribulations, patterned to each one's capacity.
But nonetheless, wounded.
What's amazing is that their 'brokenness' and their being pained did not bar them from serving.
It did not stop them from proclaiming that He is love for He really is love...
Love amidst all the pains and hurts...
Love that can give you a better perspective in a situation that can easily blur your vision.

Praise be to your Name....

The Lord just wants to tell you then that He is looking after you always.

He knows that you are in great pain as you are going through this problems that you have right now.
Be strong, for God is a good provider.
He will send people to help.
He will make your life better one day.
He will be there when that time comes.
And He will tell you that it’s over my child.

Believe and trust for He will never forsake you.
He will not leave you orphaned.
He will always be beside you no matter what.

715AM Holy Mass

Their robes after being washed by the blood of the lamb was sparkling white.  It is a journey of faith.  Where can you find any cloth that if you wash it by blood, it will come out sparkling white.  There will be tribulations but in the journey of faith, remember that we have been covered by the blood of the lamb.

After office, diretso nako sa Emarat.
Itinerary: Change Oil, Car Wash, Full Tank, Salik. Whew!
Went home to pickup Ate and coerce *winks* Gina to come with us.
Fish Market : (Fresh)  Alimasag, Pusit, Halaan. (Future) Yum, Yum!
On our way home, we decided we'll just have dinner sa Grill Corner
Grill Corner : Sisig, Bulalo, Grilled Hammour.  Tsalap!
I don't know what happened to my tummy that it suddenly ached.
I quickly went upstairs to our house to relive myself of the discomfort.
After that, I found myself dozing off in my bed right away.

Fri
Great morning.  Woke up feeling light and happy.
Took a bath and went to church for the 715AM mass.
Went for confession, too.
Upon arriving home, cooked the alimasag, halaan and marinated the pusit.
Prepared my slides for the talk and had brunch.
Drove to Chapter B1 Lord's Day (lunch break nila...)
Wala ako inabutan na pangyayari...hihihihih...
Went to Chapter B3 SW2...hindi pa tapos healing ni Tita, wait lang.
Good thing, I was with Bhe, Gracie and Mamu.
Lunch Break for B3 came when another Tita approcahed me if I can give way to her talk.
Ok.  I'll be the last speaker.
Had Sundae Hot Fudge at McDo to while away the time.
My turn to give the talk.

After the talk, pick up Che and head to the mission house.
Nakitulog kami sa bahay ng mga Virays at Serranos.
Woke up to a Marian-Dingdong movie.

I simply want to bask in God's goodness and appreciate that all these happened because He wants me to love more purely.  To really love and love still, even without recompense.

According to You by Orianthi. This song has been ringing in my head for quite some time. I love the play of words. While reflecting on the lyrics, a thought came to mind. The singer is representing a battle between good and evil. (Okay, I’m going way, way deep? Disclaimer: This is my personal interpretation. *winks*)


Going back to the lyrics, I can imagine myself singing this song out loud to the devil. During those ‘dark’ times, you would believe what the devil was telling you; that you are stupid, useless, cannot possibly do anything right. The devil would tear your self-esteem apart. You’re difficult, hard to please, forever changing your mind. He would keep on reminding you that nobody can put up with a person like you.

But being an heir to the kingdom of God, the Lord will make way to let you see the light. And when you’re fully clothed with the light of His love, you’ll learn to appreciate the beauty within you; But according to Him, I’m beautiful, incredible, He can’t get me out of His head. For God will never forsake you, He will never get you out of His grip out of His head. According to Him, I’m funny irresistible, everything He ever wanted. You will learn to appreciate that you bring joy to God simply by abiding in his love, and God cannot resist your pleadings and prayers especially if it’s for your own good. You are perfect, everything He ever wanted for a daughter, a son, because you were created in His image and likeness.

According to me, you’re stupid, you’re useless, you can’t do anything right. And when tempted, keep reminding yourself that the devil will have no use in your life, no place to occupy for you have been enveloped in God’s redeeming love. The devil will never do anything right.

Keep on repeating the lines to yourself and imagine God is affirming You, According to Him, I’m beautiful, incredible, he can’t get me put of his head… I’m funny, irresistible, everything He ever wanted…

NUKUS, Uzbekistan – The drying up of the Aral Sea is one of the planet's most shocking environmental disasters, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said Sunday as he urged Central Asian leaders to step up efforts to solve the problem.

Once the world's fourth-largest lake, the sea has shrunk by 90 percent since the rivers that feed it were largely diverted in a Soviet project to boost cotton production in the arid region.

The shrunken sea has ruined the once-robust fishing economy and left fishing trawlers stranded in sandy wastelands, leaning over as if they dropped from the air. The sea's evaporation has left layers of highly salted sand, which winds can carry as far away as Scandinavia and Japan, and which plague local people with health troubles.

Ban toured the sea by helicopter as part of a visit to the five countries of former Soviet Central Asia. His trip included a touchdown in Muynak, Uzbekistan, a town once on the shore where a pier stretches eerily over gray desert and camels stand near the hulks of stranded ships.

"It is clearly one of the worst disasters, environmental disasters of the world. I was so shocked," he said.

The Aral Sea catastrophe is one of Ban's top concerns on his six-day trip through the region and he is calling on the countries' leaders to set aside rivalries to cooperate on repairing some of the damage.

"I urge all the leaders ... to sit down together and try to find the solutions," he said, promising United Nations support.

However, cooperation is hampered by disagreements over who has rights to scarce water and how it should be used.

In a presentation to Ban before his flyover, Uzbek officials complained that dam projects in Tajikistan will severely reduce the amount of water flowing into Uzbekistan. Impoverished Tajikistan sees the hydroelectric projects as potential key revenue earners.

Competition for water could become increasingly heated as global warming and rising populations further reduce the amount of water available per capita.

Water problems also could brew further dissatisfaction among civilians already troubled by poverty and repressive governments; some observers fear that could feed growing Islamist sentiment in the region.

Ban also is taking on the region's frequently poor human rights conditions.

That is likely to be an especially tense issue when he meets Monday with Uzbek President Islam Karimov, who has led the country since the 1991 Soviet collapse and imposed severe pressure on opposition and civil rights activists.

The meeting comes less than two weeks after the U.N. Human Rights Committee issued a report criticizing Uzbekistan, including calling for fuller investigation of the brutal suppression of a 2005 uprising in the city of Andijan. Opposition and rights groups claim that hundreds were killed, but authorities insist the reports are exaggerated and angrily reject any criticism.

Aquata has a blue tail with a matching seashell bra and brown hair that is worn in a ponytail tied up in a band of white pearls. However, in Ariel's Beginning, she is not the eldest sister, but at the middle age, and her main characteristic seems to be a slight aggressiveness towards Arista, who borrows her stuff without asking, and a lack of grace. Her name is a variant of the Latin base Aqua meaning 'WATER' and is also a shade of blue.

Adella has a goldenrod tail with a chartreuse green seashell bra and blackish brown hair tied in a ponytail in bands of yellow pearls. She is described by her sisters as being bossy but has often displayed being the most responsible. According to Ariel’s Beginning, Attina is the eldest (and is likely the next-in-line to the Atlantican throne). This was determined by her unique crown, robust voice, as well as speculation that her name is a Jamaican pronunciation of her mother’s name, Athena. Although her name was most likey taken from Alan Menken's rock opera "Atina, Evil Queen of the Galaxy."

Andrina has a lavender tail with a matching seashell bra and blonde hair worn in a high ponytail bun with a pink decoration. In extension media released from 1989 onwards, she is the second daughter of King Triton. In the prequel film, she is one year older than Ariel, and is most notable for her dry wit, slightly sarcastic one-liners. Her name comes from Italian origins meaning 'HAPPINESS'. Some argue it means 'SWORD'.
