weird

went to BH yesterday for a check-up.
met with the orthopaedic surgeon
was asked to go for an x-ray
that's when a weird thing happened...

while waiting for my turn in the x-ray dept. lobby
the receptionist was talking loudly on the phone.

R: Yes, Leila... Leila, okay...and you want to speak to...

(i'm used to hearing her name...arabic name din kasi for girls)
but...

R: Okay. one moment

mejo mdami pa sinabi si receptionist but what I heard loud and clear

R: yes, Leila wants to speak to Doctor Espinosa. 

now, she got my attention big time.

R: Okay, Leila for Doctor Melanie Espinosa.
