Since yesterday, I've been sneezing like crazy. This morning, I woke with a voice similar to a frog's croak; no audible words, just garbled phrases in an attempt to speak.
I immediately messaged Ava and asked for a replacement speaker as I shared my state.
(She said she'll call on all the saints...hehehehe)
But, I still prepped my slides and outline; I got up and dressed up ready for a talk. We went to Al Ain for an assembly from 1pm - 5pm. On my way to the 730 talk, I was lifting up everything to the Lord. I was still sneezing, coughing, with runny nose, and my words still sounding like a babble.
And God is really merciful, gracious, loving, and a wonder-worker---as soon as the pray over ended, I felt a warm presence; I stood in front with a box of tissue, a bottled water, a mini-inhaler all within my grasp. Full battle gear, ika nga.
But, lo and behold, I gave the talk assigned to me for almost an hour---straight talking; not a cough, not a single sneeze, words that I uttered clear though husky, and I didn't even notice it. (I didn't need any of my so-called "battle gears" pala).
As soon as my talk ended, it was only then that it dawned unto me---good Lord, You are indeed my redeemer, my fortress, my salvation. Galing mo, Lord!

All glory be to Your name, winner ka po talaga. Thank You for allowing me to witness for You tonight. May You be praised, always!
