Was pondering on the fig tree that did not bear fruit. Was struck by what Father Gob said. The fig tree for it to be bear fruit will be sprinkled with water. Soil around it will have to be dug up. And to make the soil rich, you have to put manure. For us to receive fullness of life, most of the time, God is allowing us to receive manure for it will be our source of richness.
Manure. Not a ‘good’ thing, eh. Eyuck…Eow, eoww…
Just like our lives…sprinkled with manure. But in the end, it serves its purpose, it fertilizes our soil.
